[Call for nominations for IFEM Awards]





At each International Conference on Emergency Medicine, IFEM recognizes the contributions of our colleagues to international emergency medicine. I am writing to invite your nominations for the following IFEM Awards:

Award	Eligible to nominate	Deadline for nominations
Gautam bodiwala lifetime Leadership Achievement Award - for leadership within IFEM	FULL and AFFILIATE members in good standing	30th June 2017
Order of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (FIFEM) - for service to the specialty in their country and to development of IFEM	FULL members in good standing	30th June 2017
IFEM Humanitarian Award - recognizing an individual or organization that has achieved major humanitarian or public health benefits in IEM	FULL AND AFFILIATE members in good standing	30th June 2017

These awards will be presented at the ICEM Conference in Mexico City in June 2018. Nominations will be considered by the IFEM Board, and ratified at the IFEM Assembly meeting which will be held during the ACEP Scientific Assembly in October 2017 in Washington D.C.





I attach further information about the criteria and procedures for nomination of each of the awards. Please note each nomination must be accompanied by a non-refundable nomination fee of US$200.
