서울대학교병원 응급의료연구실에서는 국제응급의료개발 분야의 현황을 파악하고, 적절한 개발전략 및 연구방법을 고민하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 국제응급의료심포지엄을 개최하여 왔습니다. 올해 주제는 개발도상국에서의 응급의료인력 개발입니다. 주요 내용으로는 개발도상국에서의 보건의료 인력개발, 아프리카에서 수행된 응급의학 수련, 아시아 지역에서 수행된 응급의료인력 교육훈련 사업 등에 대한 초청 강연과 더불어 사례 토론으로 Lao PDR에서 수행된 응급의료 개발사업, 카메룬에서 수행된 응급의료 역량 평가 사업, 그리고 지역사회 응급의료 수요조사 사업 등에 대한 토론을 가질 예정입니다.

특별히 이번 심포지엄에는 세계응급의학회 (International Federation for Emergency Medicine) 회장이자 아프리카응급의학회 (African Federation for Emergency Medicine) 회장인 Dr. Lee Wallis 와 아시아응급의료학회 (Asian Association for Emergency Medical Services) 회장인 Dr. Hideharu Tanaka, 일본 National Center for Global Health and Medicine 응급의학과의 국제응급의료전문가인 Dr. Suzuki Takaaki가 연자로 참석합니다. 많은 분들의 관심과 참여를 부탁 드립니다.
